The Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF), founded in 1993, is China’s only internationally recognized Category A film festival organized at the national level. Held in Shanghai each June, it centers on the Golden Goblet Awards and brings together competition, screenings, forums, and market activities as a major meeting point between Chinese-language cinema and world film.
