
Tou Shi
Graduated from Guizhou Academy of Fine Arts. Occupation: Painting, Photography, Independent Filmmaking. Exhibitions and Experiences: In 1992, lived in the Yuanmingyuan and engaged in independent creations. In 1994, participated in the "Asian House Exhibition" in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with the oil painting series "Weapons" and other works. In 2000, starred in the film "This Summer." In 2001, "This Summer" won the Elvira Notari Prize at the 58th Venice Film Festival, also recognized as a "Surprise Recommendation" at the festival. Award-winning at the Berlin Film Festival for "This Summer." In 2002, delivered lectures at New York University (NYU) and showcased personal works (painting, photography). Exhibitions at the University of Chicago and the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago Campus. Featured at the San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
