Yanru is temporarily living in a countryside house owned by a stranger, while her apartment in Paris is lent to a friend, Nathan. During her solitary stay, she develops a sense of belonging and invites another friend to join her. Upon returning to Paris, she meets Nathan, he tells her she has changed—saying she is like a chameleon.

Born in Shandong, China, Wang Ziyang graduated from the Master’s program in Film Creation and Research at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Audiovisuel in France. Her two works are Les Choses venus and The Book Left Blank. She is currently preparing a medium-length fiction film and a feature-length documentary.
