Can image represents the truth or preserves the reality? In 2023, during my travel in Mexico, I had a serendipitous encounter with a 6-year-old boy at an archaeological site. We went into the jungle for adventures, where he guided me to the undeveloped area of underground Mayan tunnels, temple, showing me the endemic animals and plants. I took pictures of him with my film camera, but the rolls were completely blank after develop.

After receiving the developed roll and finding it blank, I felt upset. I tried to recover the memory of that strange encounter in any way I could and used this film to explore the distance between memory and documentation. But the more I tried to articulate my memories, the more lost I felt between reality and imagination.
