People are like ants in endless cycles. Boring city life makes most people look the same.The theme of the first part of the film is "anger" and "escape". Overload of work, the pursuit of fame and wealth, the oppression of power, counterfeiting, make people tired and lose patience with life.The theme of the second part of the film is "forgetting" and "repetition". As night falls, everything feels like a dream, and finally calm returns. When the sun comes up, all the busy people are the same again.For the toiling masses, life is like "replication" and "circulation."

During COVID-19 in 2022, I walked aimlessly down the street with my camera on my back. The streets of Beijing were lifeless, and everyone was wearing masks, like a zombie. Without hesitation, I turned on the camera and took the first picture. The film features music from Tokyo underground rock band Kote. “Reproduction, reconstruction and recycling” is a consistent theme of their music.
