In 2014, I watched a video online. Several shirtless teenagers beat a younger kid very brutally. In the end, one of the abusers threw a big brick at the victim’s head and made him lose consciousness. Then he peed on his head. I was very surprised by how the teenagers being so relax as they were just playing a simply game during the violence. How could they be so cruel like this? After online research, I noticed the younger kid wasn’t lose his life which made me relief a little bit. However, I also noticed that he abused the kids who were younger than him as well. And he didn’t feel anything wrong no matter he abused other kids or he was abused by these kids. He was back to consciousness two hours later. He went back home and didn’t say a word to his family. If the teenagers didn’t feel it’s awesome to upload the video online, this event may never be known by anybody else. Both the abuser and the abuser and the victim were apathetic to the brutal violence. What kind of environment they were living in?
